How to Pack Your Cards

Packed Right = Safe Delivery + Happy Customers

The safest way to ship cards for trades, grading, and submissions — same standards we use shipping our own collection.

Plain White Envelope or Bubble Mailer

1 Card

Each card in its own top loader. PWE works for low-value singles <$20.

  1. Place the card in a clear plastic penny sleeve.
  2. Insert the sleeved card into a top loader.
  3. Place the top loader inside a team bag and seal with tape.
  4. Place the team-bagged card in a bubble mailer (recommended for $20+) — or a plain white envelope (PWE) for sub-$20 cards. Seal.
PWE Rule OK for cards under $20 when properly sleeved + top-loaded. For anything more valuable use a bubble mailer with tracking — PWE has no tracking and limited insurance.
Plain White Envelope or Bubble Mailer

Up to 10 Cards

Up to 10 cards in one team bag.

  1. Place each card in its own clear plastic sleeve.
  2. Place up to 10 sleeved cards in a team bag and seal with tape.
  3. Place the team-bagged cards in a bubble mailer (recommended) — or a plain white envelope (PWE) for low-value batches. Seal.
Tip Keep it to 10 or fewer per bag so cards stay flat and protected.
Bubble Mailer

10 – 19 Cards

10 to 19 cards ship in a bubble mailer.

  1. Place each card in its own clear plastic sleeve.
  2. Place 10 to 19 sleeved cards in one or two team bags (10 max per bag) and seal with tape.
  3. Place the team-bagged cards in a bubble mailer and seal.
Tip Always seal the bubble mailer securely with tape.

20+ Cards / Large Collections

20+ cards up to 1,000+ cards.

  1. Sort and stack cards neatly in a card storage box, ETB, or similar sturdy container.
  2. Place the storage box inside a shipping box. Fill all empty space with packing paper or peanuts. No movement inside the box.
  3. Seal the box securely with tape. Double box valuable collections when possible.

Bulk Packing Tips

  • Keep cards tight and secure.
  • No movement inside the box.
  • Use plenty of packing material.
  • Double box high-value collections.
  • Label the box clearly.

Do Not

  • Do not use Scotch tape on the top loader. It can damage the card and leave residue.
  • Do not put multiple cards in one top loader. Each card needs its own top loader or team bag.
  • Do not substitute Card Savers for top loaders on submissions.
  • Do not use ETB sleeves, Dragon Shield sleeves, or any other non-clear sleeves. Only use clear plastic penny sleeves.
  • Do not use rubber bands directly on cards.
  • Do not ship cards loose in an envelope.
  • Do not leave empty space in the box. Cards will shift and can get damaged.

Use Only Clear Sleeves

Use standard clear penny sleeves for every card. Team bags are resealable plastic bags that protect top loaders inside the mailer.

Use
  • Clear penny sleeves
  • Standard top loaders
  • Resealable team bags
Avoid
  • Colored or patterned sleeves
  • ETB / Dragon Shield sleeves
  • Card Savers (for submissions)
